  • The WAR has begun!!!
  • It's on! Charge!!
  • The important people involved in the Battle of Camden were the American Major General Horatio Gates and the British Lieutenant General Charles Cornwallis. They were important because they are the leaders of their side. Without the leaders there is no one to follow and take orders from. Also there are more British then american because the British were more experienced and trained.

  • The outcome of the battle was that the British won. The British won the battle with only losing 68 men. While the American had 900 killed or wounded and 1,000 captured as prisoners.
  • Battle of Camden: Why was this event/battle important?
  • YEAH!!!
  • The Battle of Camden started on the year 1780 on August 16. This is when the war started and the American ran away because the British were intimidating and experienced. Leaving only a few to battle the British.
  • Battle of Camden: How did this affect the colonists/British?
  • Battle of Camden was located at Camden, South Carolina. The Battle of Camden was also a military conflict. This means people died and the British were trained and experienced/knew what to do. Also means thing to do with guns and fighting.
  • FIRE!!!
  • The Battle of Camden was important because colonists had high hopes that General Horatio Gates's war (against Britain)will raise the rebellion against the British. Also hoping to relate to their problems and concerns developing among and about the British and the loyalists. Also this was significant because normal wars are head to head while guerilla warfares are the small things and special skills. For examples sneak behind them or ambushes.
  • Let's raise our rebellion and see how brutal the British really are!
  • Be quiet! I don't think the see us.
  • This impacted the colonists by losing a lot men. Also a lot of men taken and captured to be prisoners for the British. This impacted the British by winning and only losing 68 men.
  • Get off of me!
  • Take them away!
