Storyboard Text

  • We're in the Ancient Greece around 800-146 BC. Man's principal jobs are farmers, fishermans, soldiers, politicians, slaves, traders and architects. Women are generally homemakers, they raise the children, cook meals or serve as a priestess.
  • FARMER
  • I cultivate olive trees, wheat and vineyards. I kept goats for milk and cheese.
  • FISHERMAN
  • I fish in the river and then I sell it at the market.
  • SOLDIER
  • We protect the city and fight against the enemy!!!
  • POLITICAN
  • I decide about the future of our city!
  • SLAVES - a slave become a slave when he contracts debts and does not pay them or when they suffer defeat in a war. Slavery to the Greeks is a natural thing. Some men are born to be lords and others to be slaves. For some to have freedom, others have to be slaves.
  • We have no right, neither political or legal. We are a product that is bought in the market, those who buy us have to educate our children and we cannot be mistreated.
