Storyboard Text

  • Ratifying The Constitution
  • The Constitution is too strong! Your president could be become your king!
  • You must all go home and convince nine out of thirteen states to ratify!
  • The Debate
  • As an Anti-federalist I strongly believe the government is too strong and the president has too much power. We need a Bill of Rights!
  • As a Federalist I support the Constitution and I think the AOC is too weak!
  • The Federalist Papers
  • Let's call them the Federalist Papers!
  • Lets' write essays to persuade to delegates to come and ratify the Constitution!
  • The States Vote to Ratify
  • On behalf of New York, we don't know for sure if we want to ratify this or not.
  • In Virginia, we agree with New York.
  • On behalf of Delaware, we will be the first to ratify!
  • A Nation is Born
  • I can't believe that I, George Washington, have become president!
  • Nor do I believe that I, John Quincy Adams, will be Vice President!
  • On this day, in January, 1789, we will hold our first national election!
  • Amending the Constitution
  • I, James Madison, will write ten Amendments!
  • We need to add a Bill of Rights!
  • 2/3 of Congress or states must propose an amendment and 3/4 of all states must approve.
