Storyboard Text

  • Sophie, you're back from recess early. Is everything ok?
  • Rachel told me I can't play with her and I'm not her friend anymore.
  • Sounds to me like we may need to talk about this at our class meeting. Do you want to write it in the book?
  • Great idea! I'll do that now.
  • Thursday at the class meeting...
  • Dear Class, On the playground Rachel tells me that we aren't friends. It hurts my feelings. Love, Sophie
  • Rachel, I don't like when you talk to me like that.
  • Class rule #2 says we use kind words with our friends. Maybe Rachel can say "sorry."
  • I'm sorry Sophie. I was mad that I got a bad grade on a test so I was in a bad mood. I shouldn't have said that to you.
  • Thanks, Rachel. I forgive you.
  • Great problem solving, ladies!
  • Yes, Morah Becca!
  • I hope all of our friends follow the rules we made together. And remember, if you have a problem, write it in the class notebook!
  • I sure do!
  • The next day...
  • Hey, Sophie! Thanks for being my friend. Wanna play?
  • Looks like our classroom meeting worked!
