Storyboard Text

  • Protagonist
  • Antagonist
  • Imagery
  • why cant you stay in the building after 5 p.m.?
  • Jason- He is flat because he does not listen to what people say and he does things with out thinking about them. He is also static because throughout the story he keeps ignoring what people say because he thinks they wont effect him.
  • Suspense
  • Miss Golden- She is a flat character, she doesn't really have many personalities. But she is dynamic because at first she didn't tell Jason why people have to leave the building by 5 p.m. then she eventually told him everything about the building.
  • Foreshadowing
  • "And she stared firmly down at the copy in front of her, lips folded, candyfloss hair falling over her face, lashes hiding eyes like peridots, a girl with a secret."
  • Mood
  • Jason is told that nobody is allowed in the building after 5 p.m. for some reason and he sees people rushing out of the building so he stays after to find out whats really going on.
  • "fire escape," he heard, as they came into the momentary hush of the carpeted entrance hall. And "its to do with a bicycle. A bicycle and a harp." Jason needs to find out what the items represent to figure out why nobody's allowed in the building after 5 p.m.
  • This story is a good read for Halloween because the story has a creep ending and the bicycle and harp symbolize the death of two people.
