  • Mechanial energy is when a person/object is in motion; such as me. I am exercising.
  • Elastic energy occurs when objects are compressed and stretched. For example, my muscles when exercising.
  • Gravitational  is the energy of an object because of its high position vs lower position; so teacher holding pencil
  • Chemical energy is potential energy stored in chemical bonds; like the liquids in the test tubes.
  • Chemical energy in the wood turns to thermal energy because heat is produced.
  • Light/radiant energy is the only type we can see directly. Therefore, it would be the sun in this scene.
  • Electrical energy is energy  available by  flow of electric charge through  conductor; such as the phone being charged to work.
  • Sound energy is a form of energy that is associated with vibrations of matter, so the music playing on the phone is an example.
  • Nuclear energy is energy that is created by splitting apart the nuclei of atoms. So as we see here is an explosion as an example
