  • My sweet boy! I am dying.
  • This is Lafayette's mother and she is sick. She is spending her last days with her sweet boy, Lafayette. His father was already gone.
  • I told you so!
  • His mother has now passed and he is now going to live with his great-grandfather. He was very young.
  • I am dying.
  • Where is mommy?
  • His grandfather has now passed away. He is sad and becomes an orphan at the age of 11. He has no one left in his family.
  • I told you, didn't I?
  • Where is Grandpa? I miss him.
  • Oh, how I miss my family !
  • Come with me and learn how to be proper in France!
  • He is now an orphan and is going to get to stay with royalty and go to manners school. There he learns about how to be a major general.
  • Thank you! Oh, how pretty!
