It was the day before the first day of school and I was in my room in my house, super excited, preparing my book bag for the next day My name is Ryla, I'm a crazy, fun-loving, bubbly person and this is my crazy story about how my first few days of eighth grade went for me.
You do not belong here, you need to go to an alien lab!
Well at least I am cool unlike your rude, mean, ugly self!
I was putting my pencil in my book bag when I noticed my calculator floating under my hand in the air! I was so freaked out and I thought that my brother was using clear wires to trick me, but I did not feel any. I realized that I had powers; it was cool yet, it scared me. I knew right away that I would have to keep this a secret at school, or else everyone there would think I'm a freak!
Over night I learned to control my powers a little bit, although I did that there are still a few things I was worried about for school. The whole day was fine, that was until Science class. I was sitting next to my enemy Marina when my pencil started to float. I hit it on the table but I knew she saw it, I just had a feeling. From that moment I knew I was in trouble. Marina started calling me a freak and threatened to tell the whole school about me. I was so scared I would always just run away and hide in the bathroom; it was the worst feeling ever.
It was the next day and I knew that my secret was in jeopardy and danger of getting out, after all Marina did say she would post my secret on social media, in addition to that my powers were out of control! I am surprised no one saw any of my 'out of control power episodes.' That day in school Marina was being as mean as she could have been and that is when I decided I was going to fight fire with fire, and hopefully get her to back down.
The next day during lunch Marina approached me, although she did not say what I thought she would say. Marina told me I had guts for fighting back the other day and she told me that she was jealous of me and was trying to get me out of the way so no one would be more special than anyone else. Marina sat at the lunch table with me and, we talked about life. I told her my story and when that was done we both understood each other a little better.
Then we get to today, I had been practicing controlling my powers every night after school and now I can use them perfectly. Marina is no longer being mean to me, and I am not being mean to her, we are actually friends now and in the end everything turned out okay. So, that is my crazy story on how my first few days of eighth grade were for me.
