We arrived at an uncharted island. We didn't see any people at first, which is good because we can explore with no problem. But we would soon find out that we weren't the only ones here.
We were met by some of the people of this land. They were dark and stared at us with curiosity in their eyes. They spoke a different language so we had no idea what they were saying. They had no weapons and seemed friendly.
We exchanged gifts with one another. They gave us cloth and things to smoke. We gave them jewelry, hats, and instruments. They seemed so fascinated with the instruments.
They later treated us to a feast. We were surrounded by seemingly nice people. We were played music and watched some of them dance.
We came to the conclusion that we will conquer this land and explore the lands around it. Christopher Columbus stated how he would write a letter to the Treasurer of Spain describing the lands we found.
Early the next morning we got some of the people of the land onto our boat. Our plans were to bring them to the other islands and have them help us explore them. It was going to be a long day.
