- Jesus took 3 of his disciples, Peter, John and James to a high mountain. Before his disciples, Jesus transfigured and his garments became glistening & intensely white. Beside Him stood Moses and Elijah talking to Jesus
- Row 1: Version Mark 9:2-8
- Peter said to Jesus, "Master, it is well that we are here; let us make three booths, one for you, Moses and Elijah" Peter was afraid and that was all he could say.
- Just then a great cloud overshadowed them a voice came from the cloud "This is my beloved Son; Listen to him! After this, the disciples no longer saw anyone but Jesus
- Row 2: Version Matthew 17: 1-8
- Jesus took 3 of his disciples, Peter, John and James to a high mountain. Before his disciples, Jesus transfigured before them and his face shone like the sun and his garments becaame white as light. And behold there appeared Moses and Elijah talking to Jesus
- Peter said to Jesus, "Lord it is well that we are here; I will make three booths, one for you, Moses and Elijah" Peter was still speaking
- A bright cloud overshadowed them a voice came from the cloud "This is my beloved Son; with who I am well pleased; listen to him! After this, the disciples fell on their faces and were filled with awe. Jesus said to them "Rise and have no fear". They lifted their eyes and saw no one but Jesus only.
