  • Having a personal EHR record has many benefits including secure sharing of information with external organisations, the ability to view full patient history, and improved accuracy of information allows for more informed decisions to be made.
  • Consultant led MDT 
  • Albumin is a type of protein that is found in blood. It is an important nutrient that helps the body fight infection and build muscle. An early sign of a kidney infection if found in urine.
  • Exercise recommended post MDT
  • Alumin-to-Creatinine ratio is a test done to determine whether you have albumin in your urine. A normal amount of albumin in your urine is less than 30 mg/g. Anything above 30 mg/g may mean you have kidney disease, even if your GFR number is above 60. 
  • Medication recommended post MDT
  • Multi-disciplinary team meetings normally occur at a frequent rate in an Acute hospital setting. They tend to be led by high raking Consultants in an aim to discuss patients and come to a consensus regarding their healthcare.
  • Having albuminuria doesn't necessarily mean that a patient will need treatment. In some cases patients are recommended to lose weight by either exercising or changing to a healthier diet. medication can also be used to treat the symptom.
  • Following the MDT it was recommended that the patient be given medication to assist in the removal of protein in their urine
