The Stamp Act was a law taxed all printed materials. Also the Parliament passed the Stamp Act because Newspapers, wills, playing cards needed a stamp that showed paying tax.
We are mad because the Proclamation of 1763 prohibited us from living west of the Appalachian mountains.
The Colonists responded to the Sons of liberty that only their own assemblies could tax them.
Since the business in Britain lost so much money they demanded to the parliament to repeal the Stamp Act .
