Athena asks Zeus if he could let Odysseus go. Zeus has Hermes go to Calypso and tells her that she must allow him to leave and return home to Ithaca. She tells him that he can go
She starts tempting him, asking him questions such as "Is she more beautiful than I am, I mean I am a Goddess?" He sets her staright.
He tells her how much he loves his wife and that of course no one ie more beautiful than a Goddess but he would choose anything to go back to Ithica.
She doesn't want to let him go.
She watches him leave in hopes that he would turn around but he doesn't he sets sail for his home, Ithica.
He still loves his wife and he wants to go back to Ithica to see his family.
He starts sailing home, in hopes in hopes of an easy journey back , the opposite is what happens.
She finally agrees and lets him go.
As he thinks he is close to Ithica, Poseidon realizes that Zeus let him free so he faces the crazy waves. Later on he finally gets home and that finishes Odysseus Journey.
She watches him sail away to home.
He finally gets to sail back home to Ithica.
Sadly, before he goes to Ithica he reaches Poseidons wrath.
