  • This shows the First Amendment because people are protesting gas taxes, which is protected under the "right to assemble."

  • I need you to step out of the vehicle.
  • This shows the Second Amendment because the person keeps guns at home, and this is allowed by the right to "bear arms."

  • I plead the fifth.
  • This shows the Third Amendment because the citizen is not forced to let the soldier live in his house.

  • You are under arrest for robbery.
  • The police officer is asking the man to step out of the car so he can search it. The search is legal since the man broke the law by speeding, and so the officer has probable cause.
  • This is an example of the fifth amendment because the accused person does not have to testify against himself.
  • This is an example of the sixth amendment because an accused person has the right to know what they are accused of, so the officer is telling the woman the charge against her.
