  • When Tutankhamen was just 9 years old, his father died leaving him to rule the mighty nation of Egypt. Due to his young age, he had many advisors that made most political decisions for him.
  • King Tut reigned from 1314 BCE to 1324 BCE, and he didn't accomplish very much. In his 10 years of reign, he didn't expand Egypt's borders or have any big victories for the Egyptians.
  • King Tut Died at an early age of 19. Due to political issues, his name was forgotten and erased from history. Since King Tut didn't have any sons, King Ay, or Aye, came after him.
