Rats were infested with disease carrying flees and where ever the rat went, so did the flees.The rats took a ride on the boat heading to the city.
The Boats that were from central Asia where heading the Britain and that where the plague first took affect.
On this boat, the rats survived by eating the food the people got in return from trading
When the boat came to a stop one after one each rat came off the boat and some entered the city.
The flees on the rats jumped off and bit people making them get really sick and die. They would light fires around the city to keep rats and flees out.
Finally reaching Europe, the plague wiped out 30 to 50 percent of the population killing 25 million people between 1347 to 1351.
