One day Atum rose out of the waters and made a hill because there was no where he could stand. He joined up with his shadow to produce two children.
Atum gave birth to Tefnut and Shu by coughing and vommiting them out. Shu was the god of air and Tefnut was the goddess of air and moisture.
Tefnut and Shu gave birth to Nut and Geb. Nut was the goddess of the sky and Geb was the god of the Earth.
Nut and Geb had many children and named them (left to right) Isis the queen of gods, Hathor the god of love and beauty, Osiris the god of wisdom and justice, Seth god of evil, Thoth god of wisdom and, Nephthys protector of the dead
One day Tefnut and Shu got lost in the chaos because it was not yet in the order of Maat.
Atum cried over the loss of his children and these tears then turned into the first man. Tefnut and Shu were soon found and everything went back to normal.
