This storyboard does not have a description.
With this knowledge he knew that he was one step closer to the ultimate goal, Enlightenment. So he embarked on a journey following hiss heart. It lasted many months through all types of weather but he kept going. His destination was the tree of knowledge, a sacred fig tree.
When he arrived to the fig tree he began to meditate. In order to achieve enlightenment one has t master the human desires and impulses that control the human spirit. In order to do so you must face Mara, the Evil One, god of death, desire, and illusion. Mara appeared before Guatma fiercely yet he was not swayed. He then displayed his beautiful daughters, but the attempts were in vain
Next, Mara tried to scare him attacking him with a great army followed by whirlwinds, rocks, and thunder, but Guatama simply asked for the help of mother earth. She appeared and defeated Mara's army with the sound of a thousand roars.
Next, Mara created a storm that lasted seven days. Guatama called upon the king of serpents to protect him .
Finally, Mara tried to trick buddha one last time knowing that he had already achieved enlightenment. His argument was that humans would never be able to understand the complexity of what he had discovered, so why stick around to teach them when you could rise to nirvana now. Buddha was considering his options when the Hindu come came to him and persuaded him to continue teaching .
Thus Buddha returned to society speaking and preaching about a middle path for t hose who lived at the extremes could never truly be happy, He said "Avoid the unworthy life of pleasure and the useless life of fasting and poverty, Perfection avoids life's extremes. Follow the middle path."
