  • Being Proactive means you don't give up when things get hard and it means you choose how you react to those situations. You don't give up or quit and you don't get angry out of impulse, instead you choose to control what you do in that moment. Proactive people think before they act and focuses of what they can do. Proactive people realize they can't control other people, they can only control themselves.

  • I'm not good at math and that is only my fault, not someone else's fault, so I will work to do better. 
  • When you begin with the end in mine you develop a clear picture of how you want your life to go, your values, and your goals. Your paths you take can shape you forever and your friends have a powerful influence, so make sure you don't go down the wrong path. A personal mission statement can help you decide what your life means to you. Beginning with the end in mind allows you to make sure your life is on track.

  • My goal is that in 3 months we all will be able to play our music perfectly.
  • Putting first things first is a habit of willpower to say yes or no to important or unimportant things.  You want to have most of your time in the Prioritizer quadrant and stay away from the other not useful ones. The prioritizer plans ahead and is on top of everything, so you don't have to stress about doing thins last minute. Planning ahead will help you to be in control of your life and balance your life.
  • Habit 3- In Action
  • I will first finish math homework, then science work, then I will lastly watch television.
  • I have realized I should spend less time playing games and more time studying for school. I don't always get the grades I want on tests so if i spend more time actively working then I'll do better. I plan on using this for the geometry EOC and hopefully do well on it.
  • I want to get a 4 on the math EOC, so I made a list of all the topics I need to learn. I've been doing this for tests and I think I will do good since I am setting goals for studying. I  will also apply this to band for high-school since I plan on learning all of the music.
  • I have been procrastinating on Geometry Nation and decided on doing 2 tests a night so I don't worry about it last minute. I plan on playing less video games and focus more on band during the summer. I plan on prioritizing all my school related activities for next year before my fun activities that aren't as important.
