  • Arnold at the hospital, descibing himself.
  • Mr.P talking to Arnold on the porch after Arnold gets suspended.
  • Just leave the reservation, youre going to die if you stay. You still have hope.
  • what are you doing here ?
  • Arnold's first day at Reardan
  • uhh..
  • What kind of name is that ?
  • hahahaha
  • This image is important because it describes him and identify his appearances. He haves lopsided glasses, he's skinny, his hands and feet are bigger than him, and his head is big too. So, this shows how his story starts,it help him become the person he is now. Without him looking like this  he won't overcome all the obstacles  he accomplished  ever since birth.
  • Penelope throwing up in the girls restroom.
  • GO AWAYY !!
  • This image is important because this is where Mr.P persuades Arnold into leaving the reservation and going to Reardan. As you can see Arnold is a little bit confused as to why is teacher, that he just hit in the face with a book, would tell him to leave the reservation. But Arnold took Mr.P's consideration and went home and asked his parents can he go to Reardan because he still have hope for living.
  • Roger and Arnold in the restroom at Denny's.
  • I'm poor. I don't have money .
  • Why didn't you say anything, we got you. Here is $40 dollars.
  • This is important because this shows Arnold took another route in his miserable life. Even though he took another route in his miserable life he still get problems but they're not that bad as the reservation where they bruise you and hurt you badly, at the new school all they do it talk bad. Just like the first day of school, Penelope and other new classmates was making fun of Arnold's name. Arnold thought the new school would be different but he was wrong.
  • Arnold trying out for the basketball team and making the team.
  • I know you, youre a good shooter at the rservation. Why don't you play 1 on 1 with roger.
  • This is important because this part creates an irrational but stronger relationship between Arnold and Penelope. He was in the boy's restroom and he heard a lot of crying and throwing up and Arnold went to check it out and he head Penelope. He started trying to comfort her and she was just pushing him away and telling him to go away but he didn't listen, he kept helping and she liked that about him.
  • are you okay, penelope ?
  • This image is important because this is when they find out Arnold is poor. Arnold wen out to eat with Roger and Penelope at Denny's after the winter ball. Arnold went without money and they didn't know so he felt sick and went to the restroom and was just in there. Roger wen in there to check up on him and he admitted he was poor. So, Roger being the nice kid gave Arnold $40 and Arnold was shocked because what kid gives another kid $40 ? After that Roger told Penelope and they found out that day, that he was poor.
  • What kid gives another kid $40 ?
  • This image is important because this is where he starts to gain more popularity. When he went to go try out for basketball he was shooting and the coach remember him for the reservation when he used to go there to go against that team but anyways the coach remember him and told him hes a good shooter. So, the coached paired him with Roger so they could have a 1 on 1 game, full court to show the coach who's better.
