When I was in 5th grade, one day changed my entire life.
I never really thought of it being important but looking back, it's given me a sense of vitality.
Let's go Misbah! Our appointment is impending!
Although it was the first day of December, I was vexed because I was getting braces today. At the time, I thought braces were entails on my normal life, specifically since I wouldn't be able to eat some foods. To others, they thought of braces as a transition in life and growing up.
Alright! Alright! I'm coming!
After the process of putting braces on, my teeth began feeling sore. I felt a sense trepidation, wondering how others will react with my new braces. Eventually, I became habituated to the soreness and went back to school for the last 2 hours of the day.
Will people scoff at me for my braces? Will this day get any better!?!?!
When I got back to school, I realized everybody was at the auditorium because we had an assembly. We were congratulating the 5th graders who earned high honor roll, including me! I was so engrossed at the announcements that I forgot about the pain from the braces!
Congratulations to our Students who Earned High Honor Roll!!!Misbah Sayed!
Wow! I can't believe it! I even got braces today, but it was worth it, I guess!
At the time, I learned something important. I realized that there no matter tough things can get, keep going because it will pay off, always. After all the pain I went through to get the braces, it all paid off because this was the first time I got high honor roll!
I honestly don't know what to say. Thank you for the reward!
