hi, my name is Archimedes, I was born on 287 BC in the seaport city of Syracuse, Sicily, at that time a self-governing colony in Magna Graecia, located along the coast of Southern Italy
I had nicknames such as, "the wise one", "the master", and "the great geometer". I am especially important because of my discovery of the relation between the surface and volume of a sphere and its circumscribing cylinder . I am also known for my formulation of a hydrostatic principle (known as Archimedes’ principle ) and a device for raising water, and it is still used in developing countries, known as the Archimedes screw .
I am one of the most popular inventors known to people in the modern world. Everyone has studied the Archimedes principle in their school. I invented so many practical things. The Archimedes screw most probably is the greatest invention that is mentioned frequently.
stop being so self-centered Archimedes!
