Storyboard Text

  • Approach
  • I need to get the technology banned, not just stop the project.
  • Ordeal
  • Click yes to confirm changes. Yes.        No.
  • Reward
  • The City of Chicago is banning humanoid robots permanently due to safety issues.
  • Daquon realizes that just sabotaging the project so it won't be created by Elysium Enterprises will not stop this technology. Other companies will eventually create it. He realizes that he has to create the technology, but make it dangerous enough that it becomes illegal.
  • Road Back
  • Daquon keeps working on the project and inserts fatal flaws into the code. He makes it easy to hack and creates a tendency for the robots to be violent. Once the robots are produced and sold, he begins hacking into them and causes them to be violent and beat the people who bought them.
  • Ressurection
  • We are prosecuting Daquon Rucker for the murder of Linda Sandusky.
  • His reward is when the city of Chicago, IL bans these robots, and starts a movement where every state in the USA bans the technology because all of the harm they caused.
  • Return
  • After his success at getting the technology banned Daquon is fired. He begins to feel remorse for all the pain he caused by programming these robots to beat innocent people. He sees a newspaper article about a women who died because the robot of her deceased husband beat her to death.
  • What have I done?
  • Elysium Enterprises finds out that Daquon placed flaws in the coding and caused them to attack people. They sue him and he is arrested. The trial takes three years for a conviction to be announced. The family of the women killed by one of the bots also prosecutes him, asking for the death penalty.
  • Eventually, the court settles on Daquon receiving ten years in prison, and paying $300,000 to the family of the deceased women. He is helped by a sympathetic jury and judge who understood why he did what he did. He returns to a normal life and begins preparing to run for Congress. He has realized the amount of change he can cause by taking action, and wants to help make the world a better place.
  • I'm free! I think I'm going to try and help the world more by running for Congress!
