  • The first world war began after the murder of Archduke Franz Ferdinand on June 28, 1914.
  • The murder angered a lot of people and eventually sides were formed and the war began, the Allies vs. the Central Powers.
  • The Treaty of Versailles Germany is only allowed a 100,000 man army Germany will lose all it's colonies Germany cannot have an Airforce.
  • After the war had gone on for 4 years, it was clear that no one was going to give up and a lot of people were dying. The Allies had a clear lead.
  • 
  • For that reason, the major leaders of the fighting Countries decided to make, and sign a treaty.
  • The treaty was signed on June 28, 1919, and called The Treaty of Versailles. It was designed to be somewhat fair, but ended up being much more bias towards the Allies, and more harsh to the Central Powers, especially Germany.
  • This angered a lot of Germans, one in particular.
