I can't believe Macbeth is Thane of Cawor, I wonder where he is so I can tell him.
King Duncan goes to the military camp near Forres to speak with the injured army captain. He learns that the captain was injured saving Duncan's son, Malcolm, escape.
Act 1 : Scene 3 A heath near Forres.
The weird sisters, hand in hand, Posters of the sea and land, Thus do go, about, about, Thrice to thine, and thrice to mine, And thrice again, to make up nine. Peace, the charm’s wound up.

The king also learns of Macbeth and Banquo standing up to MacDonwald and how Macbeth killed the traitor. He has decided to give the title of Thane of Cawdor to Macbeth

Ross goes to tell Macbeth the good news.

In a thunder storm the three witches appear; one says that she has just come from “killing swine” and another explains the revenge she has planned for a sailor whose wife refused to share her chestnuts.
A drum beats, Banquo and Macbeth stop walking, frightened by the women. The witches greet Macbeth and Banquo.
