The processes of DNA
In order to make RNA the DNA is unzipped and then copied to make mRNA and this process is called transcription.
In order to make a protein mRNA is read by the ribosome it connects amino acids in the correct order and this process is called translation.
This chain of amino acids is called a protein.
Problems if mistakes are made during either of these processes
If something goes wrong during transcription the mRNA will be messed up therefore causing something to go wrong in translation messing up the amino acids to make protein.
You could also get diseases, disorders and an intolerance to something
