- The coming of age part i think is the little bird wants be apart with the older birds but he tries and the wave hits him and pushes him away but he doesn't give up he wants to be like the other birds
- he tries to get threw the wave over and over and he finally got it, without giving up . He found a solution he went in the sand like the crabs.
- He finally got it in the end but it took time but he got it without giving up, i think this is an coming of age moment for him because in the end he got to be with the older birds.
