  • Frozen Pancakes By Mtheto Nkunika
  • Ahhhhhhhhh, I sliced my hand at the age of six!!!!!!!!!!!
  • You are haunted, HAUNTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • It was a lovely and pleasant morning, near my 7th birthday. The bright sun was shine in the sky as if I was in heaven taking a nice, long bubble bath. I was the only one who woke up, ready to make breakfast. I grabbed the pancakes from the freezer and a knife to split the pancakes in half.
  • Wake up dad, WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • I tried to cut the first pancake and nearly cut my hand and took a deep breath cutting the second frozen pancake. I raised the knife, put the pancake in front and “AHHHHHHH!”. I sliced my hand at the age of six.” I screamed.
  • Long story dad, looooooong story.
  • Why is there blood on the floor!?
  • Whining, sobbing, calling for a doctor to check on my bloody hand. Rolling on the ground complaining feeling the wrath of the torture in blood and flipping up and down as I was a dead fish trying to go back to the water. I blamed the knife for nearly cutting my hand in half by saying “This is all your fault! You are haunted, HAUNTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
  • I had to wake up my dad but he was a heavy sleeper so I tried to hit him so that he could wake up. My first attempt was jumping up and down on his bed. “WAKE UP DAD WAKE UP!” I yelled. Then was carrying the guy, but I thought that I will drop trying. Even smacking some sense into him didn’t work, well I wouldn,t that it didn’t work, it made my dad do a little glance as if he woke up with the gods and goddesses in the after world.
  • I thought of watching Spongebob but I realized that I should have asked my dad for cutting my pancakes instead of cutting them myself so, after my dad woke up I went to my his room and asked him to make pancakes with me and his response was “yes Mtheto.” Before we started my dad asked,” why is there blood on the floor?” I replied,” long story dad, ok now let’s make those pancakes, right now.”
