  • Definition Savagely: A fierce, violent, and uncontrolled matter. Synonym:Brutally Antonym: Nicely Sentence: The bear savagely beat the boy up.
  • Look the sun!!!
  • The climax in the story is where the rain stopped and the sun came out.
  • Whoa it’s so bright and warm with the sun.
  • You’re lying; you don’t remember!
  • It’s like a fire in a stove.
  • In the story Margot said that the sun was like a fire in a stove but the children did not believe her so they called her a lier. But when the sun did come out the felt the warmth of the sun so they learned that it was true.
  • All a joke!
  • An External Conflict in the story is when the children’s don’t believe what Margot is saying about the sun.
  • An example of figurative writing in the story is,” A boom of thunder startled them, and like leaves before a new hurricane...” The author used this to compare to different things to help us understand better about the sentence.
  • BOOM!!!!!!
  • The resolution is where a girl remembered that they locked Margot in the closet when the hour of sun was over. Next the year went to the door and unlocked it . Then they let her out of there.
