On November 11, 1918, the Central Powers surrendered. Sadly, million of soldiers died in the Great War.
On June 28, 1919, the Germans signed the Treaty of Versailles. It meant have to pay 33 billion Dollars, and claim responsibility for the war.
Unfortunately this may have lead to World War II.
