Storyboard Text

  • Did you know that two million tons of garbage is dumped into oceans every day. Water pollution is happening all around the world. Factories and cars give off gases and when those gases mix with rain it forms acid rain.
  • Building more homes and buildings can cause stress on water sources. Polluted water can cause illnesses. Eighty percent of illness are caused by unsafe water. If fish eat trash and we eat fish we can get really sick. That affects food supply.
  • Even though it will be tough we can help solve this problem. You can help organize shore cleanups like Sasha from Iwantmyoceanback. You can also paint fish near sewers to remind people that sewers lead to waterways so people won’t throw anything inside. You could even drive less so there is less air pollution because if the air is polluted and it rains it could cause acid rain. So don’t forget to prevent water pollution. It’s good that if we try little by little water pollution rates could drop. Will you use some of the tips and tricks I told you to help lower them.
