here is the constitution on display! have you ever wandered what was truly written on it? let me explain it as best as i can!
Aarticle 1 talks about the legislative branch and how they are bicameral with the house of representatives and the senate. congress is composed of these two groups and they have the power to borrow money, declare war, and raise a military. most importantly it serves as a checks and balances for the other two branches
Article 2 is The executive branch manages the government day to day through many federal departments and agencies. at the head of this branch is the president of the united states. The presidents powers consist of making treaties, appointing federal judges, department heads, and ambassadors
Article 3 is the judicial branch. determines the last court to resort to is the US Supreme court. Congress has the power to determine the size of the courts below it. judges are appointed for life. People facing charges are to be judged before a group of peers/citizens.
Article 4 explains the relationships of the states and government. As long as the states remain loyal to the government, the government will protect and provide for them. Article 5 explains that any future generation an add amendments to the constitution. Article 6 states that the constitution and all laws made are the supreme laws of the land and all officials have to swear an oath to the constitution. Article 7, the last article, states that the people who have signed the constitution represent the thirteen original states.
