  • The First Amendment gives protects the rights of peoples free practices of religion, speech, assembly, address the government, and press to publish 
  • The Second Amendment is the right to bear arms.
  • The Third Amendment is no quartering. essentially no keeping soldiers in your homestead. 
  • The Fourth Amendment protects the people from the government improperly searching their property, papers, or themselves without a warrant.
  • and The Fifth Amendment protects people from being held for commiting a crime, being tried for the same crime twice and not being forced to testify against one's-self.
