Hey Everyone! My name is Elly Murrell, and today i am going to show you how to show a goat.
First you will need a chain to lead the goat around. This can have prongs or it can just be a chain.
When you walk around the ring, make sure that the chain is always right behind their jaw. If it isn't then the goat has full control and that's when they get jumpy.
Before you brace your goat, you need to get the feet square. The best way to do this is to lift up the legs and set them down to where they are square.
Once the legs are square, you need to get in front of the goat and lift it up with your legs, to get it to brace.
Once the goat, is bracing you want to hold that position for as long as you can. Once you can't anymore or your goat gives out, you lightly knock on their forehead to tell them that they are done.
