As the school day starts all we see walking into the school are many of the same Michael Kors bags and Victora's Secret clothes that many young teenage girls wear.
These teenage girls are seen frequently throughout the halls, often times walking with their best friend who just so happens to have the same bag and clothes. But in order to be diverse their shirts might be a different color.
Here is an example of a frequent interaction among these girls. (They have the same bag.)
Thank you! It's the new Michael Kors bag. It just came out yesterday!
OMG! I love your new bag Melissa! Mine is so old.
Often times, these designer bags are filled to the brim with school books, pencils, pens, and essentials needed throughout the day like gum and lip gloss. As a result of the heavy load in their bags, many girls complain of back problems but refuse to use a different bag.
The cafeteria is the place where you see the most designer bags and Victoria's Secret clothes. They fill the bottoms of the tables and are sometimes placed in the middle of the aisle, causing some of us to trip on them.
Even though we celebrate differences many students seem to want to be the same. Anyway after the long school day these girls, along with their bags, swarm outside the school, get on their respective buses, and go home.
