- 6.But be careful how you are dressed if you visit a temple keep in mind these tips:-It is not allowed to enter the temples with t-shirts of suspenders or with shorts. The shoulders and knees should be covered.
- -You can't get shoes inside the temple. Shoes are left at the entrance next to everyone else's shoes(it's completely safe to leave your shoes outside the temple in this country).
- -Absolutely all Buddhas are received in the same way; the feet cannot be in the direction of the Buddha nor can they be crossed.So it's best to kneel with your feet back. It is also not allowed to climb on a Buddha to hug him or take a picture.
- Never enter a home or temple with any type of footwear. It is a custom that is maintained throughout the country and, therefore, you have to respect it
- Never accept the first price in the street markets, This is a golden rule: if you go to a street market (of those that sell clothes, souvenirs and counterfeit things) the first price they tell you is NEVER the real value, it is always doubled and even tripled.That is why we recommend that if you go to Chatuchak or visit the night market that is set up in Khao San Road, you have a lot of patience and enjoy haggling: always with a smile.
