Odysseus waits and sees a giant man with only one eye wander in to the cave. The cyclops was rage with these men intruding into his home.
Odysseus watched his men being eaten by the Cyclops for his afternoon meal. The rest of his men were frightened, and while they were frightened Odysseus was thinking of a way to get out of there, but what worried him the most was the giant boulder that was blocking the way that only the Cyclops strength could move.
My Father Posidon will avenge me and you will have nothing but fury coming your way Odysseus!

As the Cyclops got up he knew that once he moved the boulder that Odysseus would be making his way for escape, so he put his hands out but all he could feel was his sheep running out of his cave. However, he didn' t know that Odysseus and his men were tied under the sheep.
As Odysseus succeeds with his escape plan, he shouts out to the Cyclops that he is the one that destroyed him and where he comes from! As the Cyclops rages in fury he curses him with Posiedon name.
I am thy Odysseus and I come from Ithica! If anybody asks I am the one who defeated you!
