Week 1: Pg. 1-82 Allegiant by Veronica Roth
This storyboard does not have a description.
"We aren't even criminals so why are we in this place??!"
"Ugh I just want to go already"
This scene was the first one in the beginning of the story, Allegiant. Tris and Christina are being held in jail for releasing a video that the main antagonist,Jeanine Matthews, who is now dead, did not want anyone to see. Tris and Christina are tired of sitting in prison and demand to be released.
The girls are finally receiving the help that they needed. Tobias, Tris' lover, quickly attempts to rescue them and succeeds. Tris and Christina are surprised and are very determined to get out of jail once and for all.
I believe that this scene is important because it sets the whole book in place and describes what each of the main characters feels. This scene also affects the characters because if they were not rescued from prison, they would have been put on trial and eventually executed; this also sets the exposition of the story. This was intriguing to me because the author uses vivid imagery to express this scene, and this is what I pictured when reading this part of Allegiant.
