Meeting Immaculée Ilibagiza's family
I am Immaculée Ilibagiza and this is my family, my three brothers, mom and dad.
The Rwandan Genocide begins on April 6th 1994 and ends 100 days later. Immaculée Ilibagiza soon learns that only one of her one brother had survived while she was hiding out in a pastors bathroom with 7 other woman.
Immaculée Ilibagiza survived the genocide. She made a new life for herself in New York with her two children and husband. Immaculée continues on writing and sharing her story as a survivor of one of the most deadliest genocide's.
Forgiveness is what I used to move forward into my NEW life
