Zeus, the king of the gods, and Hera, the queen of the gods, had a great relationship. Or so Hera thought... Hera started getting suspicious when Zeus was being distant and would always stutter when she would ask questions. After a few weeks, she sent someone to watch Zeus. When they came back they told Hera that Zeus was having an affair. She was completely shocked when she found this out. She had always thought that he oved her and would never do such a thing.

Its time to get some revenge on the women who are betraying me.
After hearing about more affairs Zeus had, Hera decided to confront Zeus. She found him in the palace. She went up to him angrily and lashed out on him. After exchanging words with one another, Zeus had promised never to do it again. Hera was pleased when he said that, but still had a weird feeling.

After sending people to watch him, news came back and said he was still having affairs. Hera was furious to say the least. Even though she had a slight suspicion that he was lying, she thought he might surprise her. Hera was confused as to why he was doing this. She didn't know what to do.
Hera decided to get revenge. Not on Zeus, but the women. She just needed to think of ways to get her revenge. Every night she would toss and turn trying to think of was to get revenge. Then it hit her.
She remembered that she had been told that one of the women, Herkales, was pregnant with Zeus’ child. She decided to delay the birth of the child. She did so by giving Herkales a poisoned drink. After months of waiting, the child was finally born. But Hera wasn’t done with her just yet. One night while everyone was asleep, Hera sent two serpents to the baby’s cot. Nobody was brave enough to try and get the baby, so the baby was just left there. Hera turned other women into stone, and made it so others couldn’t speak.
The news spread around quite shortly after Hera’s doings. Women were afraid of her and her capabilities. Eventually everyone learned their lesson. They all knew to say no to Zeus no matter what. There was never another affair.
