Storyboard Text

  • You must give our Cherokee tribe some rights. You cannot come on our land and force on your laws.
  • I feel that I don't owe you power. The same laws apply to you as us Georgians.
  • I declare that, the Cherokees were not apart of a foreign nation within the meaning of Article III of the Constitution.
  • How so? We deserve basic rights of living to our needs on OUR stolen land!
  • I couldn't agree more myself your Honor. The Cherokees don't need special treatment of any sort.
  • The Cherokee Union has finally been appointed as a separate political entity and cannot be controlled by the court.
  • Worcester v. Georgia
