Storyboard Text

  • Talbot tells me that he will introduce me to her tomorrow. The rest of the evening I spend watching her intently as she returns the gaze.
  • As Talbot had left town, I resorted to meeting Madame myself. I asked for her hand in marriage even though she was concerned about the age difference.
  • She agreed to marriage but only under the promise that I would wear spectacles for the rest of my life.
  • Next Day: We were driving north when Talbot suggested that our first stop should be at a village about 20 miles from the city.
  • As she told me to do so, I put the spectacles on, and when I looked at her she became an 82 year old women.
  • As I stand here to ask how I married my great great grandmother, she tells me that it was her daughter all along that he was supposed to marry
  • This act had become apparent to me that I was not married to my great grandmothers name, but to her daughter Stephanie Lalande; without even knowing her. I was put into this situation so I could become the heir to the huge amount of money she had put away.
  • I will never be without spectacles again.
