Storyboard Text

  • My aunt had come over to drop off her dog for my family and I to dog-sit, I was 13 year old.
  • Yep no problem, have fun on your trip!
  • Please take care of Coco for me Nalin, I'll be back in two weeks.
  • It had been an easy week and a half dog-sitting and today, my mom woke me up early in the morning and told me to take Coco out for a walk so I decided to take her to our lake.
  • This was when things went bad. I was so tired from staying up the night before, that I forgot to grab her leash and just walked her without it. My eyes fell shut for a little and when I opened them again, she was gone.
  • I searched for her, screaming her name throughout the neighborhood. I had searched for about half an hour now and I was losing hope.
  • I told my parents the situation and they yelled at me. They said that I have to try asking the neighbors tomorrow.
  • Ugh, I'm so stupid! My Aunt is going to kill me, I have three days to find Coco. I'm such an idiot, I should've just focused on watching her.
  • When I woke up the next morning to go ask our neighbors, a miracle happened. I opened the door and Coco was laying there sleeping. I was so relieved that she was okay.
  • Oh my God! Coco! You're here! I'm so happy that you came home!
  • I promise I'll be more attentive and take more responsibility buddy. So, are you hungry?
