  • Permian Period...
  • In the Beginning
  •  The Middle
  • There is multiple ways this could have happened. One way that is  that multiple volcanoes erupted causing ash to fill the atmosphere leaving no sun to grow plants. This means no herbivores can eat meaning that the carnivores do not have any food either. There is also other beliefs on this too. Another way that this could have happened was that a huge meteor hit Earth causing immediate death everywhere
  • There was no life on land for another millions of years. This extinction  wiped out more than 90% of the life. This could have been caused in many ways, but many people think it is for different reasons.
  • After it All
  • Triassic Period
  • Age of the Reptiles
  • The Beginning
  • How it Happened..
  • How many people think how this happened was because of GLOBAL WARMING. How this happened was that the atmosphere gained a lot of Carbon Dioxide which rose water levels meaning that habitats of animals got lost. Habitats were lost because the land that was land turned into water meaning all of the habitiats there were now gone.
  • Once the Extinction happened, there was basically no life on land for about 65 million years. The Triassic period was full of Dinosaurs that dominated the land. When this extinction happened, the main things that got extincted was Dino's/reptiles, amphibians, and corals.
