  • Act 2 Scene 2
  • What shall I swear by?
  • Do not swear at all. Or, if thou wilt, swear by thy gracious self, Which is the God of my idolatry, And I'll believe thee.
  • Act 2 Scene 4
  • I pray you, sir, what saucy merchant was this that was so full of his ropery?
  • A gentleman, nurse, that loves to hear himself talk and will speak more in a minute than he will stand to in a month
  • Ah, Juliet, if the measure of thy joy Be heaped like mine...Unfold the imagined happiness that both Recieve in either by this dear encounter 
  • Act 2 Scene 6
  • But my true love is grown to such excess I cannot sum up sum of half my wealth
  • After the Capulet's party, Romeo decides to sneak out to meet Juliet at her house. Soon after Juliet comes out of her bedroom onto her balcony and they both begin to profess their love for each other. Then Juliet tells him to swear his love to her in order for them to get married further on.
  • Mercutio was making rude comments about the nurse once she arrived to see Romeo. After Mercutio and Benvolio were asked to leave the Nurse was able to talk to Romeo in private. She continues on to ask Romeo who Mercutio was and why he was making nasty comments. At the same time, the nurse was not fully aware of the comments made towards her.
  • After the nurse comes back to the Capulet's, she tells Juliet to meet Romeo at Friar Lawrence's cell that night. She was able to achieve this by telling her parents she was going to church to confess. Once she reaches the church where Romeo is they once again express how happy they are to be in love and to soon be married.
