- Emperor Caligula wanted the statue himself because Rome beat Greece in the Olympic games. Fortunately Emperor Caligula was killed before this demand was met so the statue was safe.
- Many things in honor of Zeus became less important because they were part of Pagan practices. Many people were also persecuted because of continuing Pagan practices.
- ATTENTION!!! Christianity will now be the official religion of the Roman empire
