LIFE BEFORE THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION

Storyboard Text

  • Before the Industrial Revolution, rural people had to raise most of their food on farms and didn't have to leave home each day for work.
  • People had to walk or use horses to move from place to place.
  • People who were from the upper class could travel as entertainment, but people from the working class would take care of their fields, crops and cattle to produce their own food
  • There were no public schools, so a few people could read and write.
  • The nutriment was more unsafe so the death rate was high
  • Before the Industrial Revolution, the world was much more quieter and peaceful. Not many people would get the chance to travel.
