  • Isaac Newton was born in Woolsthorpe Manor, United Kingdom
  • 
  • December 25, 1642
  • 
  • Newton began his education by studying Aristotle’s work. He studied at Cambridge university.
  • He had interests in calculus, light and color, and gravity
  • 
  • University of Cambridge’s Trinity College in 1661.
  • 
  • He established the universal laws of motion and gravity. 
  • 
  • his farm was the setting for the supposed falling apple that inspired his work on gravity
  • During this time the church did not approve of most of the scientists working at the Trinity College. King James wouldn't allow some to work or study.
  • 
  • He uses mathematical reasoning to prove the heliocentric theory. His  overall discoveries lead to what is now modern physics.
  • His ideas would later go on to be studied by other scientists such as Albert Einstein. Eventually leading up to where we are now.
