Natural selection Definition: A mechanism by which better adapted organisms survive to produce a greater number of viable offspring.
Overproduction & struggle to survive
Differential Survival & Reproduction
Rabbits that onced lived in a very snowy area had to migrate to a warmer climate. The rabbits had fur as white as snow and some had darker fur but they would survive as long as the others.
Changes in gene pool
Once they migrated to a warmer area they stood out and were getting killed and they keep reproducing to the point that it was to many but since they were getting killed before they could be a adult rabbit so one out of the 14 that would be born might live long enough to have offspring.
Natural selection Has four stages that are very important. By: Natalee Rodriguez Period 1 Febuary 15, 2017
Once all of the white rabbits began to die out the darker rabbits lived long enough to reproduce and build up their family again and now the white gene became recessive.
Since all of the white furred rabbits died all out but the darker furred rabbits lived long enough to reproduce.
