  • The "New World" A sailor named Christopher Columbus was an explorer that sailed across the Atlandtic Ocean during 1492 in search for an easier route to Asia. However, he did not intend to discover the "New World". The Americas.
  • England, Spain, and Portugal claimed the most land in the "New World."
  • God refers to religious beliefs that one has. All some Europeans ever wanted was to practice their religious beliefs freely.
  • Gold refers to the money Europeans wanted to make off of their new territory in the "New World" and off of resources they had.
  • Glory reffers to bragging rights and all they would want to do is show off what they can do such as, controlling a large peice of land.
  • The English moved to North America so that they could practice their religion freely and peacefully without being told not to.
  • The Triangle Trade was a trade between England, Europe, Africa, West Indies, North America, South America and they would trade cash crops, slaves, goods, and more. The Triangle Trade affected the Africans because they were taken from Africa and used to be traded as slaves.
